Finetwork FIM Junior GP

The FIM CEV Repsol began in 1998 and more than twenty years later has become a melting pot of the best young talent from across the globe. As it enters its 25th season of competition in 2022, the series will officially become known as the Finetwork FIM Junior GP, recognising its status as the final step on the Road to MotoGP™ and a globally vital competition for young talent.

With more than one hundred riders representing a huge range of nationalities, the series has become a vital stepping-stone into the MotoGP™ paddock.

The seven top class Grand Prix circuits on the calendar (Circuito do Estoril, Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Barcelona-Catalunya, Autódromo Algarve, MotorLand Aragón, Circuito de Jerez and Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli) make the perfect stage on which future stars can hone their skills.

THERE ARE THREE ACTION-PACKED CHAMPIONSHIPS:

FIM Moto3™ Junior World Championship
Created as a feeder class, the series is the most competitive junior Championship in the World. The FIM Moto3™ JWCh is the final step before the Moto3™ World Championship.

Hawkers European Talent Cup
The Hawkers ETC introduces riders aged from 13 to 18 to professional motorcycle racing. The competition provides a spotlight for the most talented young riders to begin their careers and ensures continuity for the fastest youngsters as they graduate to the FIM Moto3™ JWCh and then the MotoGP™ paddock.

Moto2™ European Championship
Moto2™ and Superstock 600 bikes with similar features of those in World Championship. In addition, Triumph engines are coming to the Moto2™ ECh in 2022, what brings the series in line with the World Championship once again, which switched in 2019. Of the riders who will compete in the World Championship in 2022, an incredible 85% have made their way into Grand Prix racing via the FIM JuniorGP. They include eight-time Champion and record-breaker Marc Marquez, 2020 MotoGP™ World Champion Joan Mir and newly crowned Fabio Quartararo.

The Finetwork FIM Junior GP has obtained international acknowledgement, becoming the standout championship for young riders who strive to ride in MotoGPTM
