The Trial World Championship is contended in natural, outdoor sites, trailing through marked areas with obstacles that are almost impossible to overcome (rocks, logs, ramps that create breathtaking challenges, streams, dry riverbeds, etc). Riders must overcome these obstacles without putting their feet on the ground and within a certain time limit.
Trial is a vibrant show and the television programmes are distributed worldwide by Dorna.
There is also an Indoor World Championship, celebrated during the winter months in permanent indoor venues in the main cities. Riders and manufacturers put all their efforts into this technical series, in which all the main challenges are artificially created.
