MotoGP World Championship is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing, with 17 events held in five continents every season and 54 years of history.

Television viewers from more than 200 countries enjoy Grand Prix action every year, with a total annual audience of more than 5,100 million and an average of over 320 million viewers per Grand Prix.

The MotoGP registered an average of 115,000 onsite spectators per Grand Prix in the 2004 season, which saw a total of 1,8 million fans attend the 16 rounds of the championship. The average attendance figure per Grand Prix (+10% on the previous season), consolidates MotoGP amongst the most highly attended sports in the world.
