With the aim to create an academy that trains riders of different nationalities so that they can race within MotoGP in the near future, this project includes all aspects related to training a rider, the psycho-physical development as well as the sport.
After a selection process amongst the most promising young riders in Europe, they have been offered the possibility of joining a complete annual programme run by Alberto Puig.
Alberto Puig´s role within this project is vital as he already has vast experience within these initiatives, which have discovered and trained riders such as Dani Pedrosa, Toni Elias, Casey Stoner, Chaz Davies and Julián Simon.
Two working areas will be created: Psycho-physical and sport.
The psycho-physical preparation is run by specialists who will plan a work schedule with a daily preparation programme, as well as extras such as the perfection of languages. During the stages within the preparation programmes, those chosen live at the Blume Residence in Barcelona which has excellent facilities and an experienced group of doctors and sport physiotherapists.
The sports preparation will be divided into different activities, depending on the seasons plans:
-Motocross and supermotard training during the winter
-Training at race tracks
-Participation in the CEV 2007 in 125 c.c
